"My old agent in Napa had retired, and I was switched over to John Villanueva’s office a few years ago. Recently I was contacted by this office with a cold call by a gentleman, and he asked me to verify the car and home insurance that I’ve had for years and if I wanted to sign up for life insurance. I have had the same life insurance plan since 1989, and this literally sent me into a PANIC. I immediately asked, “ What about my XXX plan that I’ve had since I was a BABY!???” The man said: “ Oh yea, the XXX plan, it’s on here. * Weird pause* So is there anything else I can help you with today?”……. The fact that he acted like I called him really irritated me and I asked what prompted him to call me when I have had life insurance for well over 30 years. He stated that because I logged into the website recently that it showed up on his dashboard that I was shopping for life insurance. I quickly ended the call and thought about this interaction for a while now and it prompted me to change my agent. It reminded me last year when I called for a new insurance card that I was met with less then stellar customer service, which wasn’t a deal breaker at the time. I feel like the staff at this office are not trained adequately."
